Freindly relaxed atmosphere. Has food available as well. Food and drink prices cheaper than most of the other venues in the soi. Also has a karaoke bar upstairs. Open from 7:00 till 02:00 weekdays, 3:00 on weekends, with Happy Hour from 7:00-9:00

Not really a disco, but plays the same music, and there is a lot of dancing even though there is no dance floor. Open 9:00 PM til 2:00 AM. Very popular late on Fridays and Saturdays

Popular gay disco, open every night from 11:00 till early morning, has cabaret show at 12:00. Mostly Thai younger crowd, but many expats and visitors who love to dance can be seen here regularly. Music very loud, dance floor fairly small, and usually packed Fridays and Saturdays.

Gay bar and restaurant with Egyptian theme decor, very nice atmosphere, great Thai and western food, good range of wines, beers and spirits. Open from 6:00 till 02:00 every day. A comfortable, relaxing place for a drink or a meal downstairs or a song upstairs. Service always good from the friendly staff.

Probably the oldest and most famous gay bar and restaurant in Bangkok. Has telephones on all the tables so you can call someone at another table for a chat. Nice atmosphere and great Thai and western food. Open from 8:00 till 01:00 every day. Always popular with locals, expats and visitors. Usually crowded and noisy late on Fridays and Saturdays. Service sometimes slow, particularly when crowded.

High-tech style go-go bar, mirrors on the ceiling (but no pink champagne on ice ...), metallic jumpsuits and costumes, cute dancers but smallish dancefloor, friendly service.

If you like muscle, check out the beef at Bangkok's hottest muscleman go-go bar. Also have special show every night. Now moved to new premises (June '99). A recent visitor (Sept '99) disagreed and complained that there was little muscle around the stairs were not for the weak but others still praise the muscle!!
